BARRIERS TO INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND OLDER PEOPLE IN GBV PROGRAMMES

This report was created by Social Development International and Syria Bright Future from the results of their project which aimed to understand the barriers to inclusion faced by people with disabilities and older people in GBV humanitarian programming: including needs assessments, program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
The project was conducted in North West (NW) Syria, and some participants were from humanitarian workers living in southern Turkeys who are involved in projects inside NW Syria. Three local partners have participated in this project, and they played a prominent role in the completion of this project. The partners are: Medad Humanitarian Foundation, Dar Al Salameh for older age people Care and the Association of Independent Syrian Kurds.
