Susan Crowther

Susan, our Head of Grant Operations & Finance, joined the team in March 2023 and is responsible for ensuring that our financial reporting is compliant with statutory and donor requirements, and that an appropriate level of fiduciary risk is applied to all our partner organisations. She is a CIMA qualified management accountant with over 20 years extensive experience in the not for profit sector, enabling her with key skills in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, and before joining us, Susan worked as a Deputy Head of Fiduciary Risk at a global health and social development consultancy and fund manager, where she was primarily responsible for management of two major FCDO funding programmes focusing on due diligence, fraud prevention, financial reporting and capacity building for small to medium sized civil society organisations delivering impactful projects in over 30 countries. Susan’s experience has driven a passion to assist organisations working within the sector to develop sustaining capacity building skills, balanced with complex donor compliance requirements.
