Spencer Huchulak

Spencer joined Elrha in 2024 as Innovation Manager, where he leads efforts to scale innovative solutions across a wide range of humanitarian initiatives. With a focus on fostering innovative solutions, Spencer is committed to enhancing the impact of humanitarian interventions globally.

Before joining Elrha, Spencer gained experience in both humanitarian and development sectors. He worked on humanitarian missions in Ethiopia, Uganda, and the DRC with Doctors Without Borders, addressing critical needs in challenging settings. In Zambia, Spencer played a key role in health system strengthening, including the management of a housing social enterprise that supported rural health workers. Most recently, Spencer managed an innovation fund aimed at fostering sustainable business models for renewable energy across Africa.

With a background in civil engineering and international development, he has spent over a decade working on solutions that combine innovation, sustainability, and social impact.

Passionate about traveling and meeting people, Spencer enjoys communicating the stories of those he works with, bringing attention to their experiences and the lessons learned through collaboration.
