As the Director of Social Innovation at New Markets Advisors, a leading innovation consulting firm, she has applied leading-edge thinking to practical problems in the fields of violent extremism, disaster relief, education, healthcare and local non-profits. She is a seasoned social entrepreneur, developing and launching an e-governance platform, Yowzit, in South Africa to improve local service delivery, and helping to create a women-focused NGO in Afghanistan. She has over 25 years working around the world in the humanitarian and peacebuilding fields.
