Christy Connolly

Christy, our Business Development Lead, joined the team in 2023 working to build out Elrha’s Business Development strategy, and to capitalise on the exciting innovations and crucial research we support, as well as the systemic change we are driving in the Research and Innovation space. Before joining Elrha, Christy worked for Oxfam in a variety of fundraising roles including as EU focal point, fundraising coordinator in Bangladesh, and across institutional, private sector, trusts and foundation donors. He holds a masters at the University of Manchester focussing on Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction. Christy firmly believes in injecting fun and connection in the workplace to nurture an open and motivating culture. Further, he is passionate about driving responsible change in the humanitarian sector and placing our values and commitments at the centre of business development.
