Adele Aubrey

Adele is Partnerships and Programmes Manager, Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute. She completed her doctorate in excellence in enquiry based learning, exploring dimensions of contextualised power within higher education teaching and learning environments. Educational projects have included development, piloting and assessment of European training-of-trainers for emergency medical teams, focused on operational training within low-income countries and resource-poor settings; arts-based community education in fragile contexts in Nairobi, Soweto and New Delhi; and the creation of a flexible online masters in partnership with Médecins Sans Frontiers. Adele has worked at the University of Manchester for 17 years previously in technology-enhanced learning, curriculum development and innovation.
