Showcasing innovations in protection sector programming: gender-based violence and inclusion of people with disability and older people

Watch the event recording
As part of this year’s Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW) we will be hosting an online webinar showcasing a series of innovations in Protection Sector programming in gender-based violence (GBV) and inclusion of persons with disability and older persons.
Our aim for this webinar is to showcase the innovations we’ve supported – to bring these new ideas and emerging best practices to a wide audience of humanitarians working in protection, inclusion and GBV programming, as well as technical advisors, and donors.
Innovators will share their innovations, share successes and lessons learnt, and shine a light on these new approaches, developed through the innovation process.
Participants will come away knowing what each innovation offers and how they can find out more about it – whether that’s to adopt the approach, fund its advancement, or to collaborate or draw inspiration from it.
From the over 140 innovations that we have supported since 2011 through our Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF), we will curate a showcase of selected new ways of working. These range from tools for safer programming, to assessment and M&;E frameworks that orient programmes towards more inclusive programming and better outcomes for people affected by humanitarian crises.
